Top 5 cleansers under £10

Hello there again!

Here's a second instalment of affordable and totally-worth-it skincare products. I have really tried out many many cleansers for my problem, reactive and combination skin - hope that this will be helpful for some of you! [I didn't include any exfoliants or make-up removers today, do let me know in the comments if you'd like my top 5 for anything else! ^_^]

1. Soap & Glory the Ultimelt Deep Purifying Hot Cloth Cleanser (RRP £10.00):

Am cheating a bit here with the price tag but it's on offer most of the time luckily! This is one of the nicest 'hot cloth cleansers' I've tried so far. It's more of a cream than balm.

Pros: Very efficient at taking off make-up (will need another step to fully take off waterproof mascara though), feels gentle. Does not leave any residue!
Cons: May not be moisturising enough for very dry skins. Also the cloth it comes with is a little too coarse and not dense enough for personal preferances.
Best for: Problem, dry to combination-oily skin in the evenings.

2. The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash (RRP £8.00):

This has been an absolute staple in my skincare routine. A creamy cleanser which actually lathers well and leaves your face feeling clean (but never stripped!).

Pros: Moisturising, softening and very good at taking off residues of make-up and excess oil.
Cons:  Slightly scented, may not be suitable for very dry/sensitive skin.
Best for: Dry, combination to normal skin which needs extra hydration, morning and evening.

3. Pure Daily Skin Comforting Cleansing Milk (RRP £6.00):

An unexpected gem discovered at the M&S beauty counters. This is a pumpable thick cream-milk formula which feels extremely gentle to the skin.

Pros: Extremely hydrating, leaves skin supple and clean. Great value for money as it looks and feels like much pricier lines(!)
Cons: Does not lather easily due to more natural ingredients and does not take off heavy make-up well.
Best for: Dry to combination skins, in mornings or after removing make-up. Use with a cleansing cloth or sponge to compensate the lack of lather.

4. Good Things Stay Clear Anti Blemish Cleanser (RRP £4.99):

I love the cruelty and chemical-free concept of the Good Things range, and have never been disappointed with their products. It is a foaming clear gel and its fruity scent is simply a joy in the morning.

Pros: Great at taking off residues of make-up and excess oil, helps to prevent blemishes and tightens pores. Does not contain parabens or sulphates.
Cons: The foaming formula may not be suitable for very dry/sensitive skin. Does not do much for clearing up active spots.
Best for: Combination to oily skin that is not too sensitive to fragrance, morning and evening.

5. Witch Oil Controlling Foaming Face Wash (RRP £3.99):

Finally got round to trying this from my Missguided/Company Mag's goodie bag! So happy about the results it gave I've been using it everyday since!

Pros: A little goes a very long way (one pump per use), leaves no residue, cleans without stripping.
Cons: It is a foaming formula so may not be suitable for very dry skin, does not provide extra hydration.
Best for: Combination to oily skin, morning and evening (AFTER taking the majority of your make-up off).

Do remember this is all based on personal experience, and everyone has different skin types and reactions to ingredients! I hope this was useful for some of you though, even if it's just to hear about new products. ^_^

Lots of love,

Yang xo
